Privacy

What LifeHQ knows about you
Only what you type or say into it, plus what you do inside the product. There are no connections to any outside account.
- The profile details you enter during onboarding — your preferred name, time zone, sleep and availability preferences.
- The life areas, focus, minimum standards, outcomes and routines you define.
- Tasks, notes and captures you create, in your own words.
- What you mark as done, skipped or postponed, and the plans generated from that.
What LifeHQ does not do
- No Google, Apple or social sign-in. No public registration.
- No connection to email, bank accounts, health devices, calendars, property portals or employers.
- No background listening. The microphone only records after you press record, and it stops when you stop it.
- No third-party analytics, advertising or tracking pixels.
- No payments and no card details, anywhere in the product.
- No document uploads.
Voice recordings
Voice capture is optional and only available if a transcription provider has been configured for the beta. When you record something, the audio is sent for transcription, the transcript is stored, and the audio is discarded — it is not kept on our servers by default. Everywhere the microphone appears, typing works exactly the same way, so you never have to use it.
If no transcription provider is configured, the microphone is not shown at all and the product runs entirely on typed input.
Where your data lives
In a PostgreSQL database on our hosting provider, transmitted over HTTPS. Access to the running application is restricted to the operator of the beta. LifeHQ does not claim end-to-end encryption — that is not implemented, and we will not say otherwise.
Who can see it
Each tester's information is separated by account and is only reachable through that tester's own access code. Testers cannot see each other's data. The operator running the beta has database-level access, as with any hosted application, and uses the staff tools to manage access and check that scheduled jobs are running — those tools are built to avoid displaying tester content unnecessarily.
Your control
- Export — download everything LifeHQ holds about you as a readable file, from Profile.
- Remove — clear your personal content and close your access, from Profile. This removes your plans, captures, notes, tasks, focus, floors and reviews.
- Rotate — request a new access code at any time; the old one stops working immediately.
After removal, non-identifying operational records (that an account existed, when it was created and closed) are retained so the beta can be operated safely. These records never contained your notes or transcripts.
Cookies
One session cookie so you stay signed in, and one security cookie used to protect forms. Nothing else. No advertising or analytics cookies are set.
